When and where is Melbourne FurFest being held?

This year FurFest is being held at 80 Harbour Esplanade, Docklands VIC 3008, on 3rd May 2025, from 10am - 2pm.

Is there an entry fee to attend Melbourne FurFest?

No, Melbourne FurFest is a free community event! Entry is completely free for all attendees.

Can I bring my own pet to the event?

Unfortunately, no. The community hub does not accept animals inside the hub and we can not have any pets at the glasshouse either.

Is the venue accessible for people with disabilities?

Yes! The community hub is accessible for people of all ages or disabilities, including a ramp, accessibility bathroom and even accessible parking spaces.

What kind of activities can I expect at Melbourne FurFest?

We have presentations and workshops, family-friendly animal movies in the Cinema Room, kitten/cat adoptions in the Glasshouse, virtual adoptions and food in the Atrium Forecourt, and more! Learn more here!

How does pet adoption work at Melbourne FurFest?

We have two ways! You can meet cats and kittens in person with Lost Dogs' Home in the Glasshouse, or explore virtual adoption profiles for various animals (dogs, cats, farm animals etc.) with Karma Stories in the Atrium Forecourt.
